Closure inspection
Define a defect set and verify the reject path as well as the image.
A camera can inspect a surface only if the handling and lighting make that surface visible. Start with the closure features that matter to sealing and opening, collect agreed good and defective samples, and document the inspection views. Acceptance must connect the detected sample to a verified reject. Use physical or package tests for requirements that the chosen optical setup cannot demonstrate.
Build an acceptance set
| Starting point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Defect samples | Describe the location, appearance and acceptance rule for each defect class. |
| Reject confirmation | Reconcile challenged, detected and rejected samples before releasing a recipe. |
