Plastic closure machinery
Compare molding routes against the closure drawing and the work needed after molding.
A closure production decision begins with the intended package and its approved drawing. Continuous compression and injection molding deliver molten polymer into the tool in different ways; the production choice also involves resin, cap geometry, inspection and any band or assembly work. Build a comparison around the same accepted cap rather than two headline machine ratings. Drawing control links that comparison to the bottle the customer will actually use.
Define the production job
| Starting point | What to check |
|---|---|
| Process comparison | Compare both routes on the same resin, geometry and acceptance requirements. |
| Drawing release | Keep bottle and cap revisions paired before committing to a mold or a shipment. |
